On Mac, choose the installer that matches your chip: Apple silicon (M-series) or Intel. On Windows, use the x64 installer. Check the system requirements shown above before installing.

If you are in mainland China and your network can already reach AskCc services stably, we do not recommend enabling a network proxy, VPN, or accelerator during real-time interview assistance. These services can add latency or make audio, transcription, and answer connections unstable. If you must use one, confirm the connection is stable and complete an audio test before the interview.

The currently published AskCc release and service endpoints are for mainland China. If you are outside mainland China, enable a stable return-to-China network proxy so your device can reach mainland services; otherwise login, transcription, or answers may be unstable or unavailable. Before an interview, complete a full self-test on that same network setup. Choose a low-latency, stable route when possible. If AskCc remains unusable from your location, contact support and describe your region and network environment.

First confirm that the device input type selected in AskCc matches your audio source. Then check that the required audio drivers are installed and up to date. Also verify Windows microphone permissions, the default input device, and the meeting app's output device. If the audio component will not start or reports a missing DLL, install or repair the Microsoft Visual C++ v14 Redistributable (x64) using the official link below. This is a runtime dependency, not an audio driver. Restart AskCc and run an audio test after making changes.
